Schmidt claims that Google’s acquisition of Motorola is not just a patent

According to foreign media reports, Google executive chairman Schmidt attended Salesforce. At a conference at com, Google said that it planned to acquire Motorola Mobile's transaction for US$12.5 billion not only to acquire the latter’s patent but also to include hardware products.

Schmidt is answering Salesforce. When asked by com CEO Marc Benioff, “We are not just for patents. The Motorola team also has some great products.”

This transaction can help Google in the smart phone field against Apple. Google can receive 17,000 patents from this transaction to better protect the Android operating system.

Schmidt also greatly appreciated Apple CEO Steve Jobs who had just resigned last week and believes that he should be proud of his contribution. Schmidt said: "Jobs has been the best CEO in the past 50 years. Apple has created a lot of innovation and we have benefited a lot from it."

Schmidt also served as a director of Apple while serving as CEO of Google. Later, due to the increasingly obvious competition between the two companies, he resigned from Apple's directorship in August 2009. While Google has expanded its development in the areas of computer and collection software, it has become a direct competitor to Apple's various products and services, including the iPhone.
