The air pressure of the SF6 circuit breaker is very important. If the pressure is too low, it will have a direct impact on the performance of the circuit breaker. Therefore, a density relay is installed on the SF6 circuit breaker, and when the gas pressure of the circuit breaker drops to a certain value, a signal is issued; if the air leakage is severe, the red and green lights are extinguished. At this time, the opening and closing circuit is automatically blocked to ensure reliable operation and operation of the circuit breaker. The barometric pressure gauge can be used to monitor the air pressure.

1. At the same ambient temperature, when the indicated value of the barometer is gradually decreasing, the circuit breaker is leaking. If the SF6 air pressure suddenly drops to zero, the circuit breaker should be changed to non-automatic immediately, and its control power supply should be disconnected. And contact with the dispatching and relevant departments, take timely measures to disconnect the upper circuit breaker (or bypass generation) to disable and repair the fault circuit breaker.

2. If the SF6 air chamber leaks during operation, the air supply signal is issued, but the red and green lights are not extinguished, indicating that the lock pressure has not been lowered. If there is no power failure due to system reasons, you can use qualified SF6 gas for qi treatment when safety is ensured (such as opening the exhaust fan). The main causes of air leaks are:

(1) The porcelain sleeve and the flange glue are poorly glued.

(2) The rubber pad joint of the porcelain sleeve, the rubber pad is aged or the position is not corrected.

(3) The seal ring at the sliding seal is damaged, or the smoothness of the sliding rod is not enough.

(4) The pipe joint and the self-sealing valve are not tightly fixed or have debris.

(5) Pressure gauges, especially gasket damage at joints.
