Pressure transmitter installation precautions

The correct installation position of the pressure transmitter on the process pipeline is related to the measured medium. To obtain the best measurement effect, the following conditions should be considered:

First, prevent pressure transmitters from contacting with corrosive or overheated media;

Second, prevent dross deposition in the duct;

Third, when measuring gas pressure, the pressure tap should be opened at the top of the process pipeline, and the transmitter should also be installed in the upper part of the process pipeline so that the accumulated liquid can be easily injected into the process pipeline;

Fourth, when measuring the liquid pressure, take the pressure port should be opened in the side of the process pipeline, in order to avoid precipitation slag;

5. When measuring steam or other high-temperature medium, a condenser such as a buffer tube (coil) must be connected, and the operating temperature of the transmitter should not exceed the limit;

Sixth, the pressure tube should be installed in a place where temperature fluctuations are small;

VII. When freezing occurs in winter, the transmitter installed outdoors must adopt anti-freezing measures to avoid the expansion of the volume of the liquid in the pressure-introducing port due to ice formation, leading to damage to the sensor;

VIII. When wiring, pass the cable through the waterproof connector (accessory) or the wraparound tube and tighten the sealing nut to prevent rain water from leaking into the transmitter housing through the cable;

Nine, when measuring the liquid pressure, the installation location of the pressure transmitter should avoid the impact of the liquid, so as to avoid over-voltage damage to the sensor.
