TAS5634 300W stereo PurePath (TM) HD digital input high efficiency power stage

TAS5634 is a PWM input Class D amplifier power stage that can provide 2 x 300W (6Ω) or 1 x 600W (3Ω) output power at a nominal supply voltage of 58V. The 58V supply voltage supports higher impedance speaker loads, where BTL is 6Ω and PBTL is 3Ω. The integrated MOSFET and the new gate drive scheme have higher peak efficiency and lower idle loss, which can reduce the size of the heat sink solution.

The TAS5634 uses a closed-loop feedback design with constant voltage gain. The use of switched mode power supplies (SMPS) makes the internally matched gain resistors ensure high power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) and low output noise.

TAS5634 is a fully integrated power stage compatible with TI's digital input (I2S) audio processor and modulator product portfolio. Similar to TAS5548 and TAS5558, it is also a complete digital input Class D amplifier. The TAS5634 is available in a surface-mount 44-pin HTSSOP package and is a member of the PWM input Class D power stage compatible pin product line (including TAS5612LA, TAS5614LA, and TAS5624A).
