In the STOP position, the switch is returned to MRES within 3 seconds. The STOP LED flashes at least 3s at 2Hz, indicating that it is resetting. Finally, the STOP LED is always on, and the mode switch can be loosened and completed.
Step reset CPU memory
1. Turn the key to the STOP position.
2. Turn the key to the MRES position and hold it until the STOP LED lights up for the second time and remains lit (3 seconds required). Now release the key.
